THE TALMUD (I) 
– The Making of a Book in Inklings of Blue The series starts with the story’s end: the closing of the compilation of commentaries that became the Talmud. The second tapestry goes to the beginning with the redaction of the Mishnah. From that simple-looking tapestry, the series then builds with one new bluish-colored square or rectangle symbolizing the Rabbis and their opinions added to the growing mosaic of commentaries in the subsequent tapestries. Each addition changes the appearance of the previous colors and shapes, even if, technically, they are the same. Like a new point of view can alter or add to previously stated opinions without invalidating them.
