 – Turning and Twisting the Text: Benders of Reality

The enormous influence that a few individuals have had in religion, the humanities, and the sciences is astonishing. Many developed history in good directions, and we cannot imagine our understanding and knowledge of the world without their contributions. Eventually, we may have come to the same conclusions and discoveries, but some had visions before others even dared to entertain the same ideas. Courageously, they acted on their convictions, at times at great cost to their personal lives.

Although Judaism invites different opinions, our history offers examples of intolerance.
